TENEZ respects the importance of Personal Information. In order to ensure the thorough protection of Personal Information, TENEZ will abide by laws pertaining to the protection of Personal Information and has established the Privacy Policy that follows.
1. Management of Personal Information
This Privacy Policy will be enforced when using TENEZ. Personal Information will be properly managed according to the Privacy Policy, under the responsibility of the manager of the service. TENEZ will take steps to prevent the unauthorized access, loss, destruction, unauthorized editing or leaking of Personal Information and in the event of any of the above occurring will take proper corrective measures.
2. Retention of Personal Information and other Data
The gathering of Personal Information will be done reasonably and only for the extent required, Customers can decide the extent of Personal Information that they choose to provide.
If the Customer does not choose to provide their Personal Information or does not accept the use of Personal Information for new TENEZ services or features, there is a possibility that the Customer will not be able to use services or features that require Personal Information.
TENEZ will gather Personal Information for the following purposes.
1.Personal Information gathered when using a service provided by TENEZ.
TENEZ will ask for the user's name, email address (“Account Information”) and other Personal Information as required through the account registration. In addition, TENEZ will acquire Personal Information such as address, phone number, company name, title, or any other Personal Information required by event Organizers (“Attendee Information Required by Organizers”) through the form created by event Organizer as needed.
2.Personal Information gathered when contacting TENEZ.
When contacting TENEZ, TENEZ will ask for Personal Information to contact the Customer including name, email address, and phone number.
3.Personal Information gathered when TENEZ publishes promotional campaigns.
When entering for campaign, TENEZ will ask for the name and email address necessary to make entry.
4.Personal Information when subscribing for notification emails provided by TENEZ.
When subscribing for notification emails, TENEZ will ask for email address necessary to send emails.
5.Personal Information gathered when downloading some documents from TENEZ’s site.
When when downloading some documents from TENEZ’s site, TENEZ will ask for Personal Information including name, email address, and phone number and so on.
6.Personal Information gathered when exchanging business card.
When exchanging business card with TENEZ’s staff, TENEZ will ask for Personal Information including name, email address, and phone number.
3. Usage of Personal Information
As a general rule, TENEZ will use Customers' Personal Information for the following six purposes (excluding Attendee Information Required by Organizers). When using Customers’ Personal Information for purposes other than below, TENEZ will announce in this page or in our service.
1.To provide services safely and securely.
2.For internal reference materials that will be utilized in enhancing the quality of services.
3.To enhance services provided to Customers.
4.To inform users of special services or new reference materials.
5.To contact users as required.
6.To conduct surveys on usages patterns or usage environments.
TENEZ will not use the Attendee Information Required by Organizers for our business except for the publishing and sharing under conditions specified in “4. Disclosure and Sharing of Personal Information” below.
4. Disclosure and Sharing of Personal Information
1.TENEZ will not disclose user’s Personal Information including Account Information and Attendee Information Required by Organizers to a third party except for the following cases:
i.User consent has been obtained.
ii.Disclosure or sharing is required under law.
iii.Disclosure or sharing is required to protect against harm to the rights, property, or safety of users, in cases where obtaining user consent if difficult.
iv.Disclosure or sharing is especially necessary for improving public health or promoting the sound growth of children, in cases where obtaining user consent is difficult.
v.Disclosure or sharing is required to cooperate with the public affairs of national or local governments, and when obtaining customer consent is likely to hinder the administration of public affairs.
1.TENEZ may, for any one of the purposes below, provide Personal Information including Account Information and Attendee Information Required by Organizers to event Organizers or to the third parties who signed joint development contract or any other agreement with TENEZ which specifies the collaboration on our services (“Third Party Business Partners In Collaboration”)*, and jointly use such information with the event organizers or Third Party Business Partners In Collaboration. In joint usage, TENEZ and, event Organizers or Third Party Business Partners In Collaboration will be responsible for the management of Personal Information provided
i.Organizer to manage attendees for their event.
ii.Organizers to contact users who plan to attend or have attended their event.
iii.TENEZ and the Third Party Business Partners In Collaboration to provide TENEZ service safely and securely.
iv.TENEZ and the Third Party Business Partners In Collaboration to enhance services provided to Customers.
v.TENEZ and the Third Party Business Partners In Collaboration to provide special or new services.
*There is no such third party as of now.
5. Cookies related to advertisements and notification emails
1.TENEZ uses cookies to enable efficient display of Internet advertisements and notification emails based on data analysis. Cookies do not include any information which identify users as individual. Users’ activity history data on the Site acquired through cookies will only be used for providing the Service and conducting marketing activities as listed below, and will not be used for any other purpose.

In order to ensure privacy and security a Customer's Personal Information is protected with a password. When the Customer's information is transmitted, TENEZ uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) and encrypts information that has been inputted in order to prevent its loss. However, generally speaking data transmissions over the Internet can not be guaranteed to be 100% secure. TENEZ does take measures to protect the user's Personal Information, but can not guarantee that all information provided by TENEZ is absolutely secure.
9. Liability
TENEZ bears no liability if a third party gains access to Personal Information for reasons other than those specified under “4. Disclosure and Sharing of Personal Information” in the following circumstances.
1.If the TENEZ user has used features or services provided by TENEZ to reveal or share Personal Information with a third party.
2.If the identity of a TENEZ user has been ascertained based on information that the user has inputted into TENEZ.
3.When content containing Personal Information has been uploaded to the site.
4.If the event Organizer or the third party business partner is applicable to a business operator handling personal information and violates any regulations in the handling of personal information.
5.In addition to the one prescribed by the preceding paragraph, if the third party who acquired Personal Information as specified under “4. Disclosure and Sharing of Personal Information” publishes or leaks its owned users’ Personal Information by its intention or fault.
10. Updates to the Privacy Policy
TENEZ may update the Privacy Policy at any time. If there are any important updates we will post notifications on the TENEZ website.
11. Other topics
